An Old School 1950 Chopper re-born after being covered and stored for 30 years. This bike sat in garage for over 30 years, the original builder used to be in a motorcycle club back in the day. He welded the tank on, fully molded the frame and the tank. Unfortunately the tank developed a leak and would drip gas on the heads so he parked it. When I got it I hated to tear it apart as it was fully molded, but had to be done. Had the frame sandblasted, but molded everything on frame as he did. This is the original 1950 engine and case, original transmission, original king and queen, seat, sissy bar. When he parked it he sprayed the bike down with a wax or grease. The first pictures show the original condition where it looks like everything is rust, but really just dirt in the wax. Once all cleaned off the chrome was in excellent shape. Even the engine cases were still a high luster polish. Those are original 1960's old school front forks as well. Had the cylinder heads re worked by Head Hog out of northern Ohio, he did an excellent job repairing them. After installing the Mallory Electronic ignition it was 1-3 kick bike hot or cold. Also installed an S&S shorty carb and re jetted, ran great.
